Wrestlemania 33: The Ultimate Thrill Ride

WRESTLEMANIA! The one night of the year that all of the WWE Universe (Including myself) has circled on their calendar. It’s a night where dreams come true, legends are made, and WWE superstars are born. The 33rd installment of Sports Entertainment’s greatest night will be held at the Camping World Stadium a.k.a the Citrus Bowl in Orlando, Florida.

Here are the matches scheduled for Wrestlemania 33 and my personal prediction:

WWE CRUISERWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP (Wrestlemania Kickoff match)

Neville (champion) vs. Austin Aries…… Can’t wait for the high flying matchup featuring  WWE’s 205 Live very best from the Cruiserweight division. I predict a Championship retain from the ‘King of the Cruiserweights’ himself Neville.

4th Annual Andre the Giant Battle Royal (Wrestlemania Kickoff match)

(Superstars who have announced their appearance in the battle royal) Big Show, Sami Zayn, Braun Strowman, Apollo Crews, Mojo Rawley, Mark Henry, Goldust, R-Truth, Curtis Axel, Dolph Ziggler, Jey Uso, Jimmy Uso, Chad Gable, Jason Jordan, Primo, Epico, Bo Dallas, Jinder Mahal, Rhyno, Heath Slater, Curt Hawkins, Tyler Breeze, Fandango, Tian Bing…… Now I like to consider this match kind of like a mini Royal Rumble, and what happens at Royal Rumbles? That’s right, surprise entrances. Maybe former TNA Impact! turned NXT superstar Samoa Joe? Or maybe a return from Finn Balor? Either way, my surprise pick will probably  “GHOR THE HELL” (insert Jim Ross voice here) out of every competitor in the ring, that’s right my pick is Rhyno.

Smackdown Live Womens’ Championship

Alexa Bliss (champion) vs. Natalya vs. Becky Lynch vs. Carmella vs. Mickie James….. This Fatal-5-way matchup features 5 of the HOTTEST women’s competitors in the WWE, no pun intended. After Becky Lynch’s heartbreaking loss at Wrestlemania last year, I believe she wi-………nope I lied, Mickie James all the way, my girl from the Ruthless Aggression Era.

Raw Tag Team Championship Triple Threat Ladder Match

Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson (champions) vs. Enzo Amore & Big Cass vs. Cesaro & Sheamus…….BADA BOOM, REALEST GUYS IN THE ROOM. ‘Nough said. Enzo Amore & Big Cass will be the new Raw tag team champions.

Intercontinental Championship

Dean Ambrose (champion) vs. Baron Corbin… These two dangerous competitors just down right hate each other, but I don’t think that I could ever go against the former Andre the Giant battle Royal winner, The Lone Wolf himself, Baron Corbin will be our new Intercontinental champion.

United States Championship

Chris Jericho (champion) vs. Kevin Owens…….Best Friends turned foes, to me this is such a hard match-up to call. Jericho the legend vs. KO the Superstar with attitude. Sorry guys and gals, I refuse to call this match up. Enjoy the match.

Raw Women’s Championship Fatal Four Way

Bayley (champion) vs. Charlotte vs. Sasha Banks vs. Nia Jax…… Even though Bayley and Sasha Banks are good friends, I predict the boss Sasha Banks to turn on Bayley and somehow help Charlotte win the Championship.

Smackdown Live Commissioner vs. The Phenomenal One

Shane McMahon vs. AJ Styles…. Some could argue that Shane McMahon was involved in the best match at last year’s Wrestlemania when he faced The Undertaker, even though McMahon lost he’ll have to face another competitor that was a loser last year after AJ Styles lost his first match at a Wrestlemania to Chris Jericho. Two competitors hungry for a win. I’ll pick AJ Styles.

Non-Sanctioned Match

Seth Rollins vs. Triple H……It is a Non-Sanctioned match, which really means it doesn’t really count, anything can happen, and Seth Rollins can’t do anything about it. An already injured Rollins will have no chance against the Cerebral Assassin, Triple H will dominate.

Power Couple vs. Power Couple

John Cena & Nikki Bella vs. The Miz & Maryse……Yes, these couples are REAL LIFE couples. Easy win for The Miz & Maryse

The Dead Man vs. The Big Dog

The Undertaker vs. Roman Reigns….This is a match sincere to my heart considering it could be the phenoms last match ever, considering this will be The Undertakers 25th Wrestlemania I believe he will win in one of the best matches of the evening.

Universal Championship

Goldberg (champion) vs. Brock Lesnar…GOLDBERG……GOLDBERG…….GOLDBERG, in another (yet surprising) dominating fashion.

WWE Championship

Bray Wyatt (champion) vs. Randy Orton… This year’s Royal Rumble is taking his opportunity while he can, even if it is a “family” member in Bray Wyatt. Yet, I believe Bray Wyatt will retain his title.

A good friend of mine, by the name of Alex Golladay, is lucky enough to be attending the extravaganza in Orlando. I asked Golladay, what he is most looking forward too at Wrestlemania 33. “I’m most looking forward to Y2J (Chris Jericho) vs, KO (Kevin Owens). It has been one of the best-booked storylines in a while and is responsible for Jericho’s career renaissance,” says Golladay.”I think most people are expecting a Kevin Owens victory.”

Be expecting an appearance from The Great One! The Peoples Champ! THE ROCK. Considering he is a perennial guest at the past few Wrestlemania’s. Also, with Wrestlemania being in his home state this year, it is practically inevitable.Who knows who may show up. Stone Cold? Hulk Hogan? Mr. Wrestlemania himself Shawn Michaels?

Last year, Wrestlemania (32) was held at AT&T Stadium (a.k.a Jerry World, home of the Dallas Cowboys) and broke the Wrestlemania attendance record with an incredible attendance of 101,763 WWE fans. That’ll be hard to try and break considering Camping World Stadium only has a capacity of around 65,000, but I’m sure the WWE can pull some strings to break it.

There is a Wrestlemania Kickoff show on the WWE Network starting at 5ET/2PT which will feature WWE personal previewing matches, interviews, and more! Then THE GRANDADDY OF THEM ALL! Wrestlemania 33 will be seen only on the WWE Network starting at 7ET/4PT. You can start your free 30-day trial on the WWE network to watch Wrestlemania 33.
